REEDLEY, Calif. – The Reedley College Dance Club comprised of Reedley College students and led by advisor Pedro Herrera-Galvez held a dance camp for ages 5 to 15 at the college June 26-30. The campers learned proper stretching, dance techniques, and a dance routine. The camp will conclude tomorrow with a final performance for families and friends of the campers at 3:00 p.m. in PHS 354 (near the gym).
Seven campers participated in the camp. Herrera-Galvez stated this was a small group, but it was perfect for the first time so the students could get a feel for teaching the campers. The Dance Club plans to hold more dance camps in the future.
